IBPEd / EDUCATION FRAMEWORK

The framework behind professional patisserie learning

IBPEd develops professional patisserie education frameworks, curriculum structures, learning resources and educator standards.

01

Define the educational purpose

IBPEd develops education standards, curriculum frameworks and resources intended to prepare people for professional working environments. The framework connects what should be taught, how learning should be structured and the professional responsibilities education should introduce.

02

Why education needs a standard

A professional programme needs a structure that reaches beyond individual recipes and teaching habits. The framework should make the expected learning, practical progression and professional readiness visible.

  • What students should learn
  • In what sequence
  • Which competencies should be developed
  • How practical learning should progress
  • What professional standards should be introduced
  • How education should evolve with industry
03

The controlled education network

IBPEd develops the framework for the CAPA / La Couronne education system and its controlled education network. Complete curriculum and operating materials remain within authorised network channels.

Five education pathways

The proposed architecture comprises Foundation, Professional Patisserie, Advanced Patisserie, Expert Practice and Professional Educator. Exact names, duration, modules and delivery requirements remain tied to the approved framework edition.

05

Learning outcomes and indicative hours

The legacy reference catalogue contains 26 modules and 1,180 indicative hours. Those hours are reference information rather than a mandatory duration for every learner or pathway. Approved outcomes and provider arrangements determine how practical education is structured.

Annual review and version control

The review model considers curriculum feedback, technical corrections, changes in professional practice and educator observations. Approved editions, revisions and corrections should remain attributable through the public notice record. No approved 2027 edition or formal release date is represented as published here.

Education and independent examination

IBPEd is not a regular academy and does not conduct IBPE examinations, issue IBPE qualifications or determine results. An education pathway is separate from a qualification and does not establish examination eligibility.
